Summer Garden

We do not have a place that is appropriate to plant a garden. We have cement, red rock, and grass. And besides that, if I cannot see the plants in plain view every single day, I will not remember to water them. Every year my plants die before they ever yield any fruit. This year, I decided that my "garden" is going to be right outside the back door. It's literally right at the door. So everytime I let the dogs out, let the kids out, sit at the kitchen table, I see the "garden" and remember to water it regularly. This is working to my advantage - as silly as it seems. We have tomatoes, strawberries, and onions and they are all growing nicely. I still need to plant the green beans. Probably tomorrow.
