Today I hid in the bathroom and ate an ice cream sandwich. Doing this out in the open would have started too many questions like:
Why can't we have one?
Can we have one later?
Can we each take one home with us to eat later?
Can we have one tomorrow?
This is not worth the nuisance, so I will continue to hide in the bathroom each afternoon and eat my ice cream sandwich in 90 beautiful seconds of silence.
My photo of the day is of Sunny. He loves the kids I babysit as if he were the babysitter. He rather impatiently waits at the door each morning anticipating their arrival. When he hears the school bus coming in the afternoon, he goes nuts. Today, he curled up on a blanket with them and took a nap.
