Roses

Tonight I was playing with the different flash options on my camera just to see what kind of difference each one makes. This lucky rose was my subject.



I made it thru my first week of school being out for the summer. This summer is WAY easier than last year. I just have Austin and 2 other kids, 6 and 8. Last summer I had 7 kids here all day long and could never even leave house. So whenever it feels like the day is never gonna end, I'll just try to remember what last summer was like. Today we started out with chocolate chip pancakes, spent a few hours at a new park, took the dog for a walk and played with water balloons. Not a bad day. Hopefully next week will be warm enough for them to use the pool!
