Austin and I just returned from a fabulous week in California. There is nothing like trading this 100 degree dry desert for a few days of cool 60's and 70's!
During our visit we:
1. Stayed with Grandma & Grandpa Dees
2. Visited Grandma and Grandpa Hawkins
3. Spent an entire day with my sister Gillian (it was like being in HS again!)
4. Spent a day with all of Austin's girlfriends swimming and playing
5. Visited our dear friends, the Sandbergs and their sweet baby Julia
6. Went to a REAL Farmers Market (nothing but produce like a real Farmers Market should be!)
7. Went shopping (no trip to CA is complete without coming home with twice as much as I took with me)
8. Had a great time!
Driving through Contra Costa County just made me miss being there so much. Our friends the Sandbergs live right down the street from our old house and turning onto our old road felt like we had never left, like we were going home. I am so ready to move back home!
