We have finally joined the ranks of responsible pet owners and had our dogs neutered. You would think, if everyone makes such a big deal about it being the right thing to do, the responsible thing to do, that it would be a little less of a financial burden to people. Nevertheless, $500 later, we decided to quit putting it off and just do it. If we keep waiting until we have an extra $500 laying around, it'd never get done!
Luke is not as pitiful as he looks, though he was still pretty drugged when I took this picture. Mostly, he was upset about having to wear the cone so he just laid there and wouldn't move.
Both dogs are doing just great but i couldn't resist a picture of both coneheads together. Sunny never needed the cone, but we had to put it on for one picture! Mean dog parents, i know!
