California playdate

Whenever I make an extended trip to CA, I make sure to get together with Liz, Mandy, Annie and Melanie. We all worked together and got pregnant at the same time. We have been getting our kids together for playdates since they were too young to play.

This year we took them swimming. Unfortunately, Austin was the only one out of his friends that couldn't swim very well. All the other kids were able to swim in the deep water all by themselves, but Austin kept telling me he was afraid he would sink, even with his floaties on. I guess we need to work on this some more. He is much better than he thinks he is, I did get him to swim a tiny bit but afterward he clung to me for dear life!
