We went to the outdoor pool again this week and Austin is getting really good in the water. We were in the 2 foot deep section and he kept asking me to come swim with him. Usually this means he is walking on the bottom while moving his arms through the water, but this week I noticed he wasn't walking on the bottom anymore. He was actually dog paddling. We went back and forth across the pool several times and he did a great job all by himself. He also informed me that he doesn't need me to catch him at the bottom of the slide anymore. When did he get so big and independent??

Yeah for summer! Carter is getting pretty good at swimming with his life jacket on. He will jump in the water too! How fun!
