Oregon - 2009 edition

Austin and I just returned from a wonderful trip to Oregon again this year. This was my 3rd year playing for a Christmas concert up there. Love it. The choir I played with sounded great! The music was great and we ended with the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah, which I love. It was another wonderful experience and worth missing my Carson Symphony concert for.

Can I just say I heart Oregon?

It's gorgeous. The people are so nice. There's no sales tax. Now, if we could just get some In-N-Out Burgers up there.... We are ready to move there, as soon as the Lord provides the opportunity for us.

I forgot to take pictures while I was there. I stole this picture of Austin and I at the Ward Christmas Party (which was so fun - we had breakfast for dinner! Ham and pancakes - Austin was in heaven!)

This is the only picture I took while there. Which is probably good. I don't think I'm ready to post pictures of me with my "almost black" hair. (Another post for another day....)

We had a fantastic time, but had to be back at school bright and early at 7am Tuesday morning. Oh, and I bought some A-MAZ-ING bed sheets up there.
Steve & Julie - Thanks for another good visit. I love you guys! Can't wait for next year!
