OK, I promise I am not turning this into a Money-Saving Blog but I had to share this - especially since I have a couple of friends and readers who have joined me in couponing.
The above pictured transaction is from this week at Raleys.

1 - 8 pk Mtn Dew
3 boxes Triscuts
3 boxes Wheat Thins
3 Kraft salad dressings
3 Kraft BBQ sauce
1 Bulls Eye BBQ sauce
1 - 10lb watermelon
Grand Total - $ 5.83 !!!!!!!
For the record $3 of the $5.83 was for the watermelon we picked up on the spur of the moment. At the bottom of my receipt, it says I saved a total of $63.73 amounting to 91% savings!
Other great deals this week worth mentioning:
2 - 4pks toilet paper - FREE
6 - 19oz Koolaid drink mix - 50 cents each
And if you have critters like we do (birds and hamsters) Winco sells pet food in their bulk bins. 49 cents/lb for hamster food and 36 cents/ln for bird seed. That's a HUGE savings from buying it in the pet food aisle at Walmart!

We tried to plant seed 2 years in a row...right now we are paying to water seeds. You'll have to let us know if the stuff grows for you so we can try it on our 3rd time around :)
