Well, it's official. We officially have a kindergartner in our house. Friday was the last day of Preschool. Austin is not too excited about not going to school. Between Swim lessons, Karate, Summer Reading and crafts at the library, babysitting and working at the worm farm, we will hopefully keep busy until school starts again.
Last Monday, Austin had his Kindergarten screening with the school district. He did very well and is in the 90th percentile for his age group. Discovery Preschool turned out to be the best choice for us, and we are hoping to be able to send him there for Kindergarten as well. We are in no rush to put him in Churchill County School District.

After church today Austin wanted to take his parachute toy outside.
Me: You need to change out of your church clothes if you want to go outside.
Austin: I'll just stand on the porch mom - I promise.
Me: OK, But just on the porch.
Minutes later, SPLASH
Austin: I fell in the pool mom.
Me: How did you fall in the pool if you were staying on the porch?
Austin: The wind picked me up and blew me into the pool.

That is too funny!!! What a funny kid! I can't believe he's going to be in kindergarten! It doesn't seem like that long since we saw you.
I really hate it when the wind picks me up and drops me in the pool! :)
