We entered some pictures in the county fair photo contest and Austin wanted to enter a picture he had taken on a whim of his dog one morning when he was playing with my camera. We had a long chat about how it wasn't about winning or getting ribbons, it was just for fun, so that there wouldn't be any tears when we went to look at the photos.
I took him to go see the display and Austin immediately went to find his picture. He came running to me saying there was a big ribbon on his.
He won 1st place, plus got the Grand Champion ribbon for the pet category. And he won $30!
