Our remodeled trailer project

Per Sean's request, here are before and after pics of our trailer. We found this trailer on Craigslist.org. Some guy in Reno was giving it away for free. He had tried to fix it up and made a complete disaster of it. The trailer is old - from the 70's, which is very apparent by the wallpaper and flooring inside, as well as the baby-poop brown on the outside. We spent around $200 fixing it up. Not too bad...

BEFORE

Outside

Sitting Area

Kitchen

Sleeping Area (and fridge)

1970's linoleum

Ceiling in the bathroom
(This is what the guy really messed up on. We're not really sure
what he was trying to do in there, but it was not good.)

AFTER

New paint on outside

Used our old futon mattress and made a cozy bed area that's big enough for all 3 of us

Painted over the hideous wallpaper and made new curtains as the old ones were nasty and water-stained from leaks in the ceiling

Found an old couch someone was getting rid of and used the cusions

new bathroom ceiling

new floor

That's a great deal for $200! You guys did a great job and I'm impressed you were able to do it for under $1K.

Thanks for the pics.

Thanks! The only thing we haven't been able to do yet is replace the fridge. It doesn't work and new ones are over $1000!
