Mini Mechanic

Austin "helped" change the oil in the car this weekend. I'm not really sure what he did to help, but he enjoyed putting on the mechanic uniform! He has been earning stickers for helping, listening, etc (and having them taken away for throwing tantrums, not listening). When he fills up his chart, he will get a new video game for his VSmile. Starting out, he was averaging about 2 taken away for every 1 earned, but today he did better. Now he offers to help with something "to get a sticker, Mom." Whatever changes the attitude. I think it will be awhile before he fills the chart though. Maybe by this summer!


Also, the neighbors cat seems to have adopted our porch for his daily napping spot. Our stroller has been sitting out on the front porch since last summer (I know, how trailer trash of us...) and who knows how long this cat has been sleeping in the stroller. I opened the blinds in Austin's playroom to do some painting today and Austin was like "What's that?!" Ummm, it's the stroller buddy. "No mom, what's IN the stroller?!" We were quite surprised!
