Sunny days

It has been another beautiful weekend. We have had sun all week, except for some freak snow on Thursday. Friday we took Austin roller skating around the neighborhood. It has been quite a while (last summer) since he has been able to practice and he did really good. I was proud of him!


Saturday we had to go to Reno to pick up Don's air compressor. We did a little shopping and I'm so excited that we came out of Costco under $100. How often does THAT happen?? After our shopping, we weren't quite ready to go home, so we went to Wild Island to play miniature golf. Then Don took Austin on the go carts. He did not smile the entire time, but insisted they had fun. He said they were really fast, so I think he was a little scared but afraid to say so for fear of not being allowed to go on them next time!

Now Don and Austin are watching the Daytona 500. Austin gets real excited every time he sees the "M&M Car." I'm sure he'll be asking for some M&M's before long.....
