Speaking nicely

Austin has been having a very hard time speaking nicely lately. Especially to me. So today at lunch the following conversation just about made me fall out of my chair. We were eating lunch when, out of nowhere, Austin said:

"Thank you Mommy, for taking me to that restaurant last night. That was very nice of you."

We had gone to Bully's in Fernley for a fundraiser dinner for the victims of the Fernley flood. I guess Austin really liked the food!
