Ear infection

As if Don and I both having the flu wasn't enough, Austin woke up with an ear infection this morning. We had a playdate with Sam and Austin insisted he WAS NOT sick and DID NOT need to go to the doctor, he just needed to go play with Sam. When it came time to get in the car, he started sobbing that his ear hurt really bad and he needed to go to the doctor. So off to the doctorwe went, where she confirmed the ear infection.

I'm always amazed at the things Austin recalls. He was very young when we lived in California but after leaving the doctor today, he asked me where his "White Doctor" was. Sheesh! Good thing he didn't say that in the front of his current Asian doctor! I wasn't sure what he was talking about first, except that maybe he was referring to them wearing white coats, but nope, he was talking about Dr. Lande in Martinez. Weird that he would remember that from over 2 years ago....
