Happy Halloween
In October, Austin studied bats in school. He became obsessed with them. So he decided to be a bat for Halloween.We made his costume using a sweatshirt and an old black umbrella. You can't tell from the pictures, but we cut the umbrella in half and sewed them along the arms of the sweatshirt. On the backside are the metal spokes from the umbrella to show the bones in the bat wings.
A lot of people called him Batman, to which he was quite offended. He would respond with "Not Batman! Just a regular bat!"
