Nascar Weekend - Saturday

Saturday was the Nationwide race. We got to the track early and walked around a bit more and took pictures, checked out the vendors, spent some money. Inside the track, they have these huge murals on the walls of all the previous winners. Kyle won in 2009. Thought this might be a fun photo op!

We caught a little bit of the Sprint Cup practice for Sunday's race.

The Thunderbirds did the flyover during the Anthem (and we got to watch the practice all weekend) but for some reason, I just couldn't capture any good pictures of them.

Kyle was doing awesome, leading a lot of the race, and then he hit the grass, spun out and crashed into the wall, right in front of us. The damage was severe enough that it took him out of the race. Austin was ticked.

At the end of the day, Mark Martin was the winner.
