Update: February

I'm not very good at finding time to keep up with the blog.

Here's a quick update of what's been going on with us.

Don has been working the swing shift the last week or so on a special project - which means we haven't really seen him. He's sleeping when we get up, he leaves while we're at work/school, and he gets home after we're in bed. He finally has one 11-year old Scout, so now he's doing Boy Scouts on Tuesday nights. He will get another boy toward the end of the year.

Amy was just released from working with the Young Women at church and is now working with the Primary (3-11 year olds.) So far, it feels a lot like being at work on a Sunday. I am also over the Cub Scout pack for our ward, so I've been having to quickly learn a lot about Scouts. The Pack in our ward hasn't been much, so I'm hoping to turn that around this year and make it into something better. Work has been a drama fest for the last few months.

Austin is still doing very well in school. He just received another awesome report card. He is busy trying to finish up his Tiger for Cub Scouts. Karate has been cancelled due to his instructor moving out of state. We're not sure if we'll try to find an activity to replace Karate. He is unbelieveably excited about his birthday trip to Vegas next month to see Nascar. This will be much bigger than our trip to see the Truck series. We have tickets for Qualifying, the Nationwide Race and the Sprint Cup race. We will also be attending a special autograph session with Kyle Busch.
