Here's what we had going on for the first half of May:
Austin and Don worked on sanding this old dresser. When we lived in Martinez, someone left it out on the street corner in front of our house and Don wanted it. (Yes, this means that it moved here with us and has been sitting in our garage for 4 years...)

Austin played with the camera.

We planted our "garden." I use the term garden loosely, as we never end up with much actually growing.

Lowe's had their fruit trees marked down to $5.00, so we decided we needed a tree in the front yard.

I spent an entire week at school helping our students make these for Mother's Day. If you've never tried to teach 3 year olds how to tie a knot, I don't recommend it.

I traveled to Elk Grove to witnesses my best friend enter the waters of baptism. What an amazing day!

After the baptism on Saturday morning, I drove up to Chico to visit my sister-in-law Shandra, who is attending Chico State. I stayed with her for the weekend and we enjoyed some much needed girl time! While there, I'm pretty sure I met my future brother-in-law. No, they are not engaged, but it's just a matter of time! How freaking cute are they together!?

Austin went rock-climbing while I was gone.

And of course, we had Karate.

Yep, that pretty much sums up the first half of the month.
I'm going to try to be better about posting more frequently.
