25 Days of Christmas - Day 6

Today we went to the Stocking Stuffer Motorcycle Run at Highland Manor, a nursing home just around the corner from us. We attended 2 years ago and then had to miss last year while we were in Oregon. A local motorcycle club and classic car club do this every Dec. They meet at Raleys and drive in one big caravan to the nursing home with Santa leading the way on his Harley. It's almost like having Street Vibrations and Hot August Nights driving right past our house - on a much smaller scale of course. Everyone brings gifts for the residents, there's lunch and a raffle with the money benefitting the residents.

Here come the motorcycles down the street. I missed getting a pic of Santa leading the group.
There were SO MANY motorcycles this year we thought they'd never end!

And #2

We did win a prize in the raffle. An autographed picture of some guy from the Nascar Truck series. Austin loves NASCAR so we hung it on the wall in his playroom.

All in all, a good day and a good cause.
