2007 Year in Review

Again, I took another idea from Liz, but I really liked her Year in Reivew with pictures from each month. So here is our 2007 in a nutshell:

January - Apparently nothing too exciting took place in January as I have no pictures from that time. I bought my new SUV and we drove to CA for the strangest wedding reception any of us had ever been too. We did get to visit with Uncle Chris and Auntie Kari, so that was fun.

February - Again, no pictures. I was released from being a teacher in Austin's Nursery class and made the Laurel Advisor (Sunday school teacher for the 16 and 17 year old girls.) This seems to be "my calling" because I've taught that age group in every ward we've been in.

March - At the beginning of the month, Uncle Mitch and Auntie Mary flew out for a visit. We drove out to CA to see them. How blessed we were to see them twice in less than a year! Also, Auntie Shandra came to visit us for Spring Break. While she was here, we put her to work. We made her cook, wash dishes, everything she's not used to having to do! She helped make a lasagna.

April - Austin turned 3. We had a "family day" in Reno the weekend before his birthday, followed by Dad shooting himself with a nail gun on his actual birthday and a big Lightning McQueen party with all his friends the following weekend!

May - We went camping with some friends to Walker Lake for Memorial Day weekend. Austin loved playing in the lake.

June - Again, we drove to CA for Uncle Shawn and Auntie Evelyn's baby shower.

July - Austin and I spent the entire month in CA while i was performing in the Oakland Temple Pageant. We did a lot while we were there. Austin took his first swim lessons in Martinez, we went to the Oakland Zoo, Six Flags Marine World, Auntie Kari's wedding and the Scarlet Brigade Band reunion, just to name a few...

August/September - I have absolutely no recollection of what we did during these two months, and have no pictures.... Guess it was pretty boring around here! Don did get started taking online courses to become a Home Inspector.

October - Halloween! Austin dressed up as a dog. He called himself "The Dog." I was also released from being Laurel Advisor in our ward and called to be the 2nd Counselor in the Young Women's Presidency.

November - We finally got to meet Baby Abigail over Thanksgiving. (again in CA) We stayed with Grandma and Grandpa Dees. Our dear friends, The Sandberg's blessed Baby Julia in church and finally, after 27 years, I took my first tour of the Jelly Belly Factory!

December - What a month. We traveled to Oregon for a week, immediately followed by a week in CA. After all this traveling, we decided to stay home for a nice quiet Christmas. Santa came to visit and a few days later we had snow!
