On Saturday morning, we hung out in the midway prior to the Nationwide race, checking out booths, playing games and taking pictures.
Austin got to practice a pit stop.
Kobalt Tools had a huge display set up and he competed in Corn Hole again one of their employees. He did pretty good. He won a Kolbalt Tools hat.

They had a game system set up with the new Jimmie Johnson "Anything with an Engine" video game. Austin got this game for Christmas.
Took some pictures with some cars....

Then it was time to head to our seats for the Sams Town 300. Here is Kyle, all strapped in and ready to go.
Driver introductions - Here is Kyle riding around the 1.5 mile track.
Just like last year, our guy was out early on in the race. He finished, but many many laps down. Ricky Stenhouse Jr, last year's Nationwide champion was the winner.
The day before, one of the employees at MGM saw Austin dressed in his M&M firesuit and told us that Tony Stewart was going to be making an appearance Saturday night and to come find him and he'd get Austin an autograph. So we went and we were able to be right up in the front row during the interview. Tony noticed Austin immediately (because he was wearing the rival firesuit again) and he called him out during the interview. We had some friendly banter back and forth and Austin was able to get an autographed Coke bottle.

How fun for Austin this trip must have been. I have a couple goofy-smiling kids, but I still take pictures of them smiling (hint, hint)!
