Oregon - 2010 edition

Last weekend, Austin and I made our annual trip to Oregon. I did not take a single picture. We had a fantastic time though. Our Christmas concert was excellent. We played here (well, actually at the Stake Center next door to here):

I realized that I need to play my oboe more. A lot more. Not because I sucked, I actually felt really good about my performance. I just need music to be a bigger part of my life right now. Something for me. I don't do anything just for me. (Here's where my New Year's Resolution comes into play - more time for me and my music.)

We also did some tax-free shopping for new work clothes. I love shopping in Oregon. And I love the new sweaters I bought. And I feel like I need to go back and get some more!

And then we had to come home and head back to work and school. Seems like the weekend flew by way to fast. We did not even get a chance to go here:

Lithia Park is my favorite place to visit when we're up there. On the way home, as we were driving thru Ashland, Austin asked if we could go to "Lumpia Park." Too much Lumpia in one week I guess.
Good things:
1. Great music
2. Great friends
3. Barely being able to get in the front door because 3 dogs are so excited that I'm home.
