I was recently made the Young Women leader of the 14 and 15 year old girls at church. One of the first activities that they wanted to do was make cookies and deliver them to people. Sounds easy and like a nice service-type activity. There was just one catch. They wanted to do this dressed as super heroes!
So, they came dressed in super hero attire. We chose 5 families who had small children that would be delighted to have super heroes arrive on their doorstep. The plan - to place the plate of cookies on the doorstep, and once the door was opened, yell "UP, UP AND AWAY" and run off.
It was dark. We got strange looks. We got chased by dogs. But it was a good time.
And what kind of Young Woman leader would I be if I didn't dress up with them?
Since Austin has to attend mutual with me right now, I made us matching Super Hero costumes.
