4th of July

I haven't had a chance to upload pictures in about a month, so I'm spending a couple of hours catching up tonight. Mostly I'm just going to be posting pictures without writing much - just too many pictures and too little time!

We had a nice quiet 4th f July. We rode our bikes to the parade, BBQed and sat in the driveway to watch the fireworks at Rattlesnake Raceway.

Here is Austin waiting for the parade to begin. He fell on the concrete yesterday.

Austin loved seeing the banged up racecars painted like characters from Disney's Cars.

The Transcontinental Motor Convoy, a collection of vehicles from the Military Vehicle Preservation Association, participated in Fallon's Fourth of July parade as the convoy makes it way from Washington, D.C. to San Francisco along the Lincoln Highway. Thought the Grandpa's might enjoy these photos.

And these last 2 pictures pretty much sum up what Fallon's parade is made up of. Just a bunch of high school rodeo kids sitting on the back of trucks. If you're lucky, they'll squirt you with super soakers. It's not much of a parade, but it's something to do.
