Birthday Party

We had Austin's Birthday Party on Saturday and he invited a couple friends from school and a couple friends from church. Just the right amount.

When Austin told me he wanted Kyle Busch's M&M car as his birthday cake, I stressed over how I would fulfill his wish. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.

We played a few games, including this balloon stomp. A bunch of 4 and 5 year olds with balloons tied to their feet trying to stomp on each other - what could be more fun? The 2 year old won!

Time for presents!

Cake time! I worked on that cake up until 20 minutes before the guests arrived. Part of me cringed when it was time to cut it!

And since Easter was the following day and the weather was beautiful, we decided to have an outdoor Easter Egg Hunt for the kids. Please don't look at our dead grass. We know it's dead. When Mother Nature decides to stop the below freezing temps at night, we will be planting new grass seed.

Followed by playtime outside.
