The first few days of our vacation we spent in San Diego, which is a place Don and I both love. With beaches, a 5 story shopping mall and Sea World, what's not to love?? We spent a day at Sea World and got soaked watching the Whale Show, the Dolphin Show, the Sea Lion show... Somehow we always ended up sitting too close!

The next day we drove over to Coronado. We were pleased to see that they no longer charge a toll to cross the Coronado Bridge. The Bay Area should take notice of this. We went down to the beach, but it was too cold that day for swimming. Austin found a crab in the sand, which is what he's holding in this picture below. Afterward we went back over to San Diego to have lunch and do some shopping in Seaport Village. Austin tripped over the stroller wheel and split his chin open on a cement flower pot, almost landing us in the hospital, which is why you'll notice the band-aid on his chin in most of the rest of the pictures.

On our way to Anaheim, we stopped in La Jolla to take Austin to see the San Diego Temple. He loved the flowers on the temple grounds.
